What inspired you to take up bowling?

By chance I was at the bowling alley in Padua and attending the masters final. Seeing athletes play, I asked myself, "If they can do it because not me," and I signed up as a rookie.

Is the Italian Title missing from your list of achievements?

I actually made it to the single six times second and I hope that sooner or later the Italian Title will arrive. We at the "Bowling Museum" hope that 2002 will give you what is missing from your palmares.

How do you live these eleven*three hundred officers?

It's always a great feeling in all 25 *(many are official and not) including what I did tonight in the Christmas tournament, because my "three hundred" are done exclusively in tournaments where something is up for grabs (never in training because I'm lazy). What I remember most is the first one (1995) also because it reached the Italian World Cup Final and during a Roll-Off where I think no one managed to get the "perfect" match.

Bronze medal with the national team at the European Championships, what are your impressions?

One of the most important satisfactions in these 12 years of bowling (I put it first), it's a different thing; it comes from teamwork and not from individual play, my emotions become theirs and vice versa so you experience the mistakes or strikes and divide them with the whole team

Your World Cup appearances and placings?

Four participations: France 25°- Japan 18°- Cairo 12°- Ireland 4° place, due to American Hylen losing the match 242 - 232 and this cost me the bonus and consequently the second place in the Roll-Off

What kind of bowls do you use?

A little bit of everything Track - Storm - Brunswick

Have you been to the US on your own and participated in tournaments? Do I benefit as an athlete?

Of course, mentally I benefited from it, in practice I was aware of certain types of modern drilling (at the time in Italy it was not feasible) and through Guido Sorba who introduced me to Dave Smart, the world's number one drill driver and Rickie Sposato, the manufacturer of the Lame1, from them I learned the drilling technique
